At The Pub With PARADISE LOST (Video)
September 21, 2012Century Media Records recently asked British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST a number of questions while hanging out at Tom Bergin's Tavern in Los Angeles. Check out the footage below.
"Fear Of Impending Hell", the new video from PARADISE LOST, was directed and produced by the band's own Steve Edmondson (bass) and features live-performance and behind-the-scenes footage. The song comes off PARADISE LOST's new album, "Tragic Idol", which sold around 900 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 32 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
Released on April 24 (one day earlier internationally) via Century Media Records, "Tragic Idol" was recorded in part at The Chapel studios in Lincolnshire, England and features cover art by by Parisian designer Valnoir, who has previously worked with MORBID ANGEL, LAIBACH, ULVER and WATAIN, among others.
PARADISE LOST is currently on the road in North America as part of the "Epic Kings & Idols Tour" with DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT and KATATONIA.
